2009: The 26th Annual Thanksgiving Gypsy Pilgrim Jamboree!
Back to Basics
Another Happy Hour Event
What is the Jamboree? It is an organized campout with our friends relatives and their friends and relatives held each year to experience some of what the original pilgrims experienced in 1621. While the weather controls much of the activities during those few days, it always involves typical camping stuff: hiking, biking, fishing, drinking, burning things, sharing stories, and most importantly, sharing our love and thanks for all the friends and good things that we have in this world.
5 DAYS: Wednesday, November 26, thru Sunday, November 30, 2009

Hotels
For those of you who prefer the more exotic approach to camping, here is some hotel
information. You may want to book early before prices go up:
- CLOSEST hotel: Best Western Springs Resort - 4 miles from the park 800-344-9794.
- Holiday Inn Bonita Springs - 7 miles from the park.
- Comfort Inn Bonita Springs - 8 miles from the park.
- Also a Comfort Inn about 10 miles south.
There were other hotels within 8 miles, but they were over $100 per night - an option for those of you who like to stay in a more upscale place - like the Ritz-Carlton Naples which has a AAA Rating of 5 diamonds! and offers rooms from $330 to up to $3000/night. Omigod!
