• Hurricane Idalia probably messed up the park - they cancelled camp reservations for Labor Day Weekend, but I expect they'll be Ok by November. I plan to visit the park next week to take a look and assess the damage.
• Good Video Tour of the park taken Nov 3, 2019, pre-COVID, and during the same season that we'll be there. Useful for picking your site.
• Make your reservations up to 11 months before your arrival date and be ready at 8:00a that morning to place your reservation for your site.
• Reserve Florida State Parks
• Most stores are just 6 miles away in Chiefland, including Winn-Dixie, Wal-Mart, Tractor Supply, liquor stores, Walgreens, and a few restaurants.
